Step into an important role supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic mix of flexibility and impact, with part-time, half-time hours—perfect for professionals seeking meaningful work with a manageable caseload. While in-person interaction is preferred for optimal student engagement, hybrid or virtual options can be considered for the right candidate.

In this position, you’ll work closely with a diverse group of students, including those with speech and communication challenges primarily related to Autism. The caseload consists of approximately 10 students under case management, serving a total of about 20 students, most of whom are mainstreamed, allowing for collaborative and inclusive practice.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or holds Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status.
  • Experience working with school-aged populations, ideally with middle school students.
  • Skilled in assessment and intervention for pediatric speech and communication disorders, with a strong understanding of Autism spectrum needs.
  • Knowledge of related school records, IEP development, and progress monitoring.
  • Adaptable to in-person, hybrid, or virtual service delivery.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to middle school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support communication needs.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide input for progress reports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as required.
