Step into an important role supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. In this position, you’ll work closely with a diverse group of students, including those with speech and communication challenges primarily related to Autism. The caseload consists of approximately 10 students under case management, serving a total of about 20 students, most of whom are mainstreamed, allowing for collaborative and inclusive practice.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or holds Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) status.
- Experience working with school-aged populations, ideally with middle school students.
- Skilled in assessment and intervention for pediatric speech and communication disorders, with a strong understanding of Autism spectrum needs.
- Knowledge of related school records, IEP development, and progress monitoring.
- Adaptable to in-person, hybrid, or virtual service delivery.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to middle school students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records and provide input for progress reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as required.
