Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility per New York requirements
  • Experience supporting elementary-aged students in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech and language abilities using standardized tools and clinical observation
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver engaging, data-driven interventions for articulation, language, fluency, and social communication
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies for optimal outcomes
  • Consult regularly with teachers, families, and related service providers to maximize student growth
  • Ensure compliance with all IEP and state reporting requirements
