Key Qualifications:
- Valid North Carolina EC General Education K-12 certification required
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher within a school setting
- Familiarity with the ECATS IEP system
- Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Passion for providing support to students in a resource setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to K-4 elementary students in accordance with IEPs
- Develop and implement personalized educational plans using the ECATS IEP system
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment for every learner
