Position Details

- Position: School-Based Physical Therapist (PT)
- Schedule: Full-Time
- School Year: 2026–2027
- Setting: On-site, Multiple School Sites
- Caseload: Discussed during the interview based on experience and district needs
Responsibilities
- Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reporting.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to support student success in the educational setting.
Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist license.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Passion for helping students achieve greater independence and success.
