School Psychologist - Ballwin, MO

A school district is seeking a contract School Psychologist to support up to two school sites, with placements to be determined based on district needs. This role begins August 24, 2026, and extends through May 28, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You’ll work closely with a dedicated team that values balanced caseloads and provides strong support to contracted professionals.

What you'll bring:

• Active Missouri Department of Education School Psychologist certification
• Experience in school settings (elementary, high school, or K-12 preferred)
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and reporting—prioritizing the Child Find process
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, supporting students, staff, and families
• Completion of required credentialing, including a drug screen and fingerprints
• Flexibility with scheduling prescreen interviews between 9–11 a.m. or 2–3 p.m. EST (times may be adjusted to fit your needs)

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of approximately 30–40 students (caseloads are intentionally managed to avoid overload)
• Performing assessments, evaluations, and contributing to the creation of individualized plans
• Preparing thorough reports and documentation as part of the special education process
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary staff and participating in relevant meetings and interventions
• Maintaining compliance with all district, state, and federal requirements
