Step into a rewarding role working onsite as a Physical Therapist, supporting students in a dynamic school-based setting. This part-time contract opportunity, based near Elgin, IL, offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working just two days a week, totaling 15 hours. The assignment runs from early August 2026—beginning with orientation on August 3 and 4—through May 20, 2027.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Prior school-based or pediatric PT experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Comfort working onsite within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to adapt your expertise to diverse student needs and age groups

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, supporting their functional and educational goals
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and document progress
  • Work closely with educators and families to promote student inclusion and achievement
  • Participate in monthly meetings, case reviews, and roundtable discussions with colleagues
  • Use equipment and testing materials provided onsite
  • Engage in process improvement initiatives to further enhance best practices
