Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Social Work required.
- Active LSW or LCSW license in Pennsylvania.
- Prior experience working in a school setting is essential.
- Strong background in providing services to K-8 populations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teams across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Student Support Team by overseeing counselor caseloads, monitoring special education compliance, and managing the delivery of individual and group counseling.
- Coordinate and implement Tier III interventions, working closely with school teams, serving as the McKinney-Vento liaison, and initiating partnerships with community agencies.
- Provide direct counseling services—both individual and group—to support the social, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students.
- Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions and strategies tailored to the unique needs of diverse learners.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families to build a supportive and inclusive school climate.
