Job Description
Step into an impactful part-time role supporting students through focused speech-language services for the 26/27 school year. This contract opportunity allows you to work approximately 6 hours per week, contributing your expertise where it matters most—all while maintaining a manageable schedule.
In this position, you’ll only handle Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and evaluations, maximizing your time and specialized skills to make a meaningful difference for children and their families.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current AZ Speech-Language Pathologist license (in hand and ready to begin)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working within schools preferred
- Strong understanding of evaluation and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations for students as assigned
- Develop, update, and participate in IEP meetings to determine and monitor student goals
- Collaborate with educational teams and families to support student progress
- Document relevant assessment and progress data in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain clear, timely communication with administrators and staff regarding scheduling and student needs
