Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential coverage during a maternity leave. This contract position near Seattle, WA runs from August 25, 2026, through December 4, 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Qualifications & Skills:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Valid or eligibility for School Psychologist credential/licensure in Washington state
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to conduct assessments and participate in IEP processes
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological and educational assessments for students referred by staff or parents
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement effective intervention strategies
- Offer consultation and support for student social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school policies and procedures
- Promote a safe, supportive, and encouraging school climate
