An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled School Psychologist to provide essential coverage during a maternity leave. This contract position near Seattle, WA runs from August 25, 2026, through December 4, 2026, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. As part of a collaborative educational environment, you'll contribute significantly to the well-being and academic success of students.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field required
  • Valid or eligibility for School Psychologist credential/licensure in Washington state
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to conduct assessments and participate in IEP processes
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform psychological and educational assessments for students referred by staff or parents
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement effective intervention strategies
  • Offer consultation and support for student social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation according to school policies and procedures
  • Promote a safe, supportive, and encouraging school climate
