Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Support Pharmacist to provide essential coverage across two outpatient pharmacy locations in Colorado. The role involves working between Peoria and Wheat Ridge sites on a contract-to-hire basis, with an assignment lasting 13+ weeks.

Location

  • Peoria and Wheat Ridge, Colorado
  • Ability to travel between both pharmacy locations is required

Schedule

  • Work will be scheduled between the two pharmacy sites

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Active pharmacist license in Colorado in good standing
  • Minimum of one year outpatient or retail pharmacy experience
  • Experience with Epic Willow preferred
  • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent patient counseling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across two locations

Responsibilities

  • Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions, including controlled substances adhering to regulations
  • Conduct drug-utilization reviews and identify potential drug interactions
  • Manage inventory, including stocking medications
  • Handle incoming phone inquiries professionally
  • Assist customers with point-of-sale transactions
  • Provide thorough patient counseling regarding medications
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by pharmacy management

This position offers an hourly pay rate between $55 and $65, commensurate with experience. The contract-to-hire arrangement provides an opportunity to transition into a permanent role with the organization.
