Per Diem Inpatient Pharmacist - Dalzell, South Carolina

This opportunity is for an inpatient hospital pharmacist to provide per diem coverage in a behavioral health setting. The role requires working Monday through Friday with on-call duties after each shift, plus occasional remote weekend on-call support.

Schedule and Coverage Details:

• Training during the week of September 21st (one day required)
• September 26-27: On-call only
• September 28 – October 2: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM shifts plus on-call after shift
• October 5-8: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM shifts plus on-call after shift
• October 12-15: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM shifts plus on-call after shift
• Weekend coverage on-call with remote support for order verification and answering questions when needed

• Dalzell, South Carolina

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Active and clear South Carolina pharmacist license
• Experience with Wellsky order entry system and Omnicell automation is a plus, but training will be provided

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and ensure accurate dispensing
• Refill Omnicell automated medication cabinets
• Place medication orders with Cardinal Health
• Provide pharmacological support in an inpatient behavioral (psychiatric) setting
• Manage on-call responsibilities including responding to medication-related inquiries remotely
