Clinical Practice in Obstetrics & Gynecology | NO NIGHT CALL | Leadership Role in Program Development

Our organization is in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN to take on the role of Associate Program Director (APD) for an upcoming community-focused OB/GYN Residency Program, set to commence in Summer 2027. This position merges significant educational leadership with clinical practice in a supportive, hospital-based setting. Clinical responsibilities are backed by a collaborative team of generalist OB/GYNs and a dedicated OB/GYN Hospitalist team, ensuring no night calls and promoting a healthy work-life balance.

The Opportunity

The Associate Program Director will closely collaborate with the Program Director to foster the educational, operational, and cultural growth of the residency program while maintaining an active clinical role.

This position includes allocated time specifically for residency leadership tasks, which encompass:

• Assisting the Program Director with residency administration, curriculum development, and program enhancement
• Designated administrative time
• Engaging in scholarly activities and quality improvement projects with institutional research backing
• Contributing to program operations and compliance through committee participation, evaluation processes, faculty development, and recruitment efforts
• Teaching and mentoring OB/GYN residents and medical students in various clinical settings, including inpatient, outpatient, Labor & Delivery, and surgical environments
• Providing supervised clinical education and constructive feedback during routine patient interactions
• Encouraging a positive, hands-on learning atmosphere rooted in community practice

• Maternal-Fetal Medicine
• Gynecologic Oncology
• Urogynecology
• Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (in partnership with regional specialists)

Inpatient services are provided at the Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children, an eight-story, state-of-the-art facility designed for compassionate, family-centered care, featuring:

• A Level III NICU with 24/7 support from a Neonatologist and NICU team

• Are Board Certified or Board Eligible through ABMS or AOA and possess a current Florida medical license or can obtain one
• Prefer a primarily clinical OB/GYN practice
