Qualifications & Desired Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education (or related field)
- Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License, or eligibility for reciprocity
- Background in IEP development, case management, and special education compliance
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Preferred: Licensure in ABS, ASD, EBD, DD, or LD; experience in assessment, Setting III/IV, ASD or behavioral support
- Experience with PBIS, MTSS, FBAs, and BIPs is a plus
Core Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs
- Deliver individualized and specially designed instruction
- Participate in evaluations, IEP, and multidisciplinary meetings
- Use evidence-based behavioral interventions and classroom management practices
- Ensure continuous compliance with IDEA and state regulations
