Occupational Therapist School Setting - Saint Charles, IL

Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students across elementary and high school settings for the full academic year. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, working across two school sites in general education and resource classrooms. With a small, manageable caseload, you’ll have the chance to deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions that make a meaningful difference in students’ lives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of Illinois
• Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or sensory integration settings
• Familiarity working with school-aged children using individualized goals and progress note documentation
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with general education teams and resource staff
• Passion for fostering student independence and participation in school routines

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs
• Deliver direct and consultative OT services within both resource and general education classrooms
• Document progress and communicate outcomes with educators, parents, and school teams
• Utilize sensory integration strategies and therapeutic techniques to help students access curriculum and participate fully in their school day
• Travel between two school sites to support students across grade levels
