Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Mansfield, OH

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem pharmacist position offers an opportunity to provide essential vacation coverage at a busy retail pharmacy located in Mansfield, OH. The role requires a licensed Ohio pharmacist to support daily operations during specific vacation periods including August 10-14, September 14-18, and November 25.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Pharmacy hours are 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM; pharmacist presence is required 30 minutes earlier)
• No lunch breaks; the pharmacy remains open continuously

Key Responsibilities:

• Data entry of over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
• Verification and checking of more than 200 prescriptions per day
• Answering pharmacy phone calls promptly and professionally
• Product verification and controlled/narcotic drug delivery check-in and signing
• Collaborate closely with three full-time pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• No immunization administration required for this role

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficient use of pharmacy computer systems, preferably PioneerRx
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high prescription volume accurately
