Support inpatient psychiatric care as a Pharmacist in a per diem role in Eastover, SC. This opportunity involves providing essential pharmacy services in a 60-bed hospital specializing in behavioral health, with an average daily census of 15-30 patients. The position requires flexible availability from late September to mid-October, including on-call duties.

Schedule and Coverage:

  • Training week: September 21st
  • Coverage dates: September 26th – October 15th
  • On-call: Sept 26-27th
  • Sept 28 – Oct 2, Oct 5-8, Oct 12-15: 8am-4pm shifts plus on-call after each shift
  • Weekend on-call with remote work responsibilities (answering questions and verifying orders as needed)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
  • Active and clear South Carolina pharmacist license
  • No prior experience required with Wellsky order entry system or Omnicell automation; training will be provided
  • Ability to work independently as sole pharmacy staff on-site
  • Familiarity with psychiatric inpatient pharmacy preferred but not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders accurately
  • Refill medication automation system (Omnicell)
  • Order pharmaceuticals from suppliers (Cardinal)
  • Provide on-call remote support during weekends, assisting with inquiries and order verifications
