School Psychologist in Winfield, KS

Make an impact by supporting students across three educational sites as a full-time School Psychologist in the greater Winfield, KS area. This contract position gives you the opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 student population, collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to promote academic and emotional success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and intervention
• Effective communication abilities with students, parents, and staff
• Experience developing and guiding Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to travel between three locations as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
• Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning and behavioral goals
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
• Serve as a resource for teachers and parents regarding strategies for student success
• Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely manner
• Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within assigned schools
