An exciting opportunity is available for a dedicated Educational Behavior Specialist to support students in a dynamic school environment. This contract role is well-suited for professionals who hold a BCBA certification or are credentialed psychologists with a passion for making a meaningful impact.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in behavioral analysis and intervention, demonstrating the ability to collaborate with educators and families to create supportive, effective learning spaces. In this position, your specialized knowledge will be pivotal to student progress and well-being.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification or valid license as a psychologist
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
  • Proficient in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Familiarity with Non-Violent Behavioral Training methods
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive FBAs to assess student behaviors and needs
  • Design and implement BIPs tailored to individual students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support behavior interventions
  • Provide guidance and training on non-violent behavioral strategies to school staff
  • Collect and analyze data to monitor intervention effectiveness
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records in compliance with school policies
