Job Description
An exciting part-time opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a significant impact supporting students and staff in a school setting near Tucson, AZ. This onsite, contract position runs from September 8, 2026, through May 25, 2027, offering 28 hours per week within a collaborative educational environment.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification
- Previous experience in a school, district, or educational setting preferred
- Ability to lead and mentor a behavior team
- Skilled in conducting student observations and functional behavior assessments
- Strong communication abilities when consulting with staff and parents
- Experience writing practical, effective Behavior Implementation Plans (BIP)
- Capacity to deliver engaging professional development on behavior strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert leadership to a district-level behavior support team
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Observe students to gather data for functional assessments and actionable plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure positive outcomes
- Develop and update individualized Behavior Implementation Plans (BIPs) for students in need
- Facilitate professional development sessions for staff on evidence-based behavior modification techniques
