Speech-language pathologists have a unique opportunity to support students as they develop vital communication skills. In this contract role, you'll collaborate with a dedicated group of educators to provide evaluation, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with diverse speech-language needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) for SLP practice in schools
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong skills in collaboration, organization, and communication
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying caseloads and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapeutic services as outlined in IEPs
  • Track and document progress toward student goals, maintaining compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers
  • Serve as a resource for staff on speech-language concerns and strategies
  • Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
