A well-established California litigation firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing Construction Defense practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated construction disputes while working in a collaborative environment that offers mentorship, career advancement, and meaningful client interaction.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in construction litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial and appeal.

Handle disputes involving public and private construction projects.

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.

Conduct depositions, court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Manage an active caseload while providing excellent client service.

Collaborate with attorneys and litigation support staff on complex matters.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Active California Bar license in good standing.

Five or more years of construction litigation experience or closely related civil litigation experience.

Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and dispute resolution.

Excellent legal writing, analytical, organizational, and advocacy skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.

Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
