Industrial Painter
Job Description
Overview:
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and priming.
- Apply industrial primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray equipment and other painting methods.
- Ensure proper paint coverage, finish quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Inspect completed work for quality and touch up as needed.
- Maintain painting equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work with production team members to meet daily production goals.
Skills and Experience:
- $17.50/hr - pay raise after you roll over
- Previous industrial painting, automotive painting, or manufacturing paint experience preferred.
- Experience with surface preparation and protective coating application is a plus.
- Ability to use spray painting equipment and related tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
