Make a difference supporting students’ communication needs as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract assignment. This opportunity is located near Storrs Mansfield, Connecticut, where you will work within a school setting, collaborating with educators and families to empower students and help them thrive.

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure as an SLP in Connecticut (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Proficiency in evaluating and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students across grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families regarding student progress and support needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment, and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
