What you’ll need:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification (DOE Cert)
- Successful completion of a district-required drug screen and fingerprinting, in addition to standard credentialing
- Background and training as a School Psychologist, with all required credentials up-to-date
- Adaptability to work at multiple school sites (exact assignments and caseload details will be determined upon placement)
- Commitment to onsite work—remote/virtual candidates will not be considered for this assignment
What you’ll do:
- Provide comprehensive psychological services across assigned schools, including assessment, consultation, and intervention
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop appropriate plans for students
- Support students of varying age groups by evaluating needs, recommending resources, and helping implement support strategies
- Document findings and maintain compliance with legal and district requirements
- Serve as a resource for school staff and families, promoting student well-being and academic success
