Bring your passion for supporting students and your expertise as a School Psychologist to a contract opportunity serving K-12 learners in the Detroit, MI area. This position is designed for professionals who thrive in dynamic educational environments and are ready to make a measurable difference.

In this role, you’ll work full-time, up to 35 hours per week (7-hour days). Part-time applicants will also be considered if you can commit to full days on a consistent schedule. Travel professionals are welcome!

Key Qualifications:

  • Active School Psychologist licensure in Michigan is required
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly preferred
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, counseling, and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to work with diverse student populations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to recommend effective interventions
  • Provide direct support services and counseling for students with academic, behavioral, or emotional concerns
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with district and state guidelines
