Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the upcoming 26/27 academic year, making a direct impact on preschool students by lending your expertise in school psychology. This part-time position—14 to 15 hours per week—offers on-site collaboration with a dedicated arena testing team focused on early childhood evaluations. Be a cornerstone in the diagnostic process alongside a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist and two seasoned Diagnosticians, all within a supportive elementary school setting.

Your role centers around participating in multidisciplinary arena evaluations, with an emphasis on assessments for children turning three—many involving Autism Spectrum screening. While the volume of evaluations is variable based on incoming cases, your influence will be instrumental in setting young learners on paths for future success.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with early childhood and/or preschool populations preferred
  • Comfort with multidisciplinary, team-based assessment models
  • Familiarity with Autism assessments (arena evaluations a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
  • CPI certification not required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary arena evaluations for preschool children
  • Collaborate closely with SLP and Diagnosticians throughout testing and reporting
  • Provide insights and recommendations as part of a comprehensive eligibility determination process
  • Complete required documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Engage with families and staff in a respectful, supportive, and professional manner

Enjoy a flexible schedule with a start date between August 10th and 17th, operating in a collaborative, child-centered school environment. This role is designed for professionals eager to focus on meaningful, specialized assessments without managing large, ongoing caseloads.

Bring your expertise and passion for early intervention to this unique preschool-focused assignment. Take the next step in your career journey by submitting your application today!
