School Psychologist in Ocala, FL

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-8 students at a dedicated Autism Center located near Ocala, FL. This contract opportunity offers a blend of in-person and virtual work, providing maximum flexibility while supporting students’ growth and success.

You’ll play a critical role in helping students thrive, providing valuable psychological services, evaluations, and emotional support in an inclusive, collaborative environment. With an initial commitment of 20 hours per week and the possibility of additional hours, this role is perfect for someone passionate about working with neurodiverse learners.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and testing, both virtually and on-site (at least 1 day per week in person for evaluations/testing)
• Deliver counseling services tailored for students with autism and related needs
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement student-centered intervention plans
• Provide consultative support and guidance on individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Work with students in grades K-8, addressing a broad range of academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Document findings, maintain case notes, and contribute to team meetings

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid School Psychologist certification for Florida (or eligibility)
• Previous experience working in educational settings, ideally with K-8 students on the autism spectrum
• Expertise in conducting psychological assessments and developing supportive interventions
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with teletherapy and a hybrid work model
