Working from August 3 through May 19, you’ll provide specialized instruction and guidance to three students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Estimated at 17-18 hours per week, your contribution includes both direct and indirect service time—ensuring each child gets tailored support for maximum growth.

Desired qualifications & experience:

  • Valid Special Education teaching license or certification
  • Experience creating and implementing IEPs
  • Ability to deliver individualized instruction in both reading and math
  • Comfort with technology and virtual teaching platforms (for remote candidates)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted reading and math interventions, both individually and in small groups
  • Provide oversight and support for specific students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Coordinate indirect services as needed to ensure students’ academic progress
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress per IEP goals
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to monitor and adjust instructional strategies
