Several full-time openings are available supporting students across district-wide locations in a collaborative, vibrant educational environment. Diverse roles include Assessment, Setting III/IV Restore Program, and Elementary ASD Center-Based teaching positions, each designed to foster growth for students with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or closely related field
  • Current Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License, or eligible for MN licensure via reciprocity
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and managing IEPs
  • Strong grasp of IDEA, special education compliance, and case management
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Preferred license endorsements: ABS, ASD, EBD, DD, LD
  • Background working in any of the following: ASD, Setting III/IV therapeutic classrooms, emotional/behavioral support, assessments, PBIS, MTSS

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations, lead eligibility determination, and produce detailed reports
  • Develop and deliver specially designed instruction aligned with student needs and goals
  • Manage accurate documentation and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster inclusive, positive classroom environments using evidence-based strategies
  • Implement behavior intervention plans, crisis prevention, and trauma-informed interventions
  • Ensure full compliance with Minnesota and district special education requirements
