Position Overview:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join a high school team in Phoenix, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive and engaging educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state guidelines
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with varying disabilities and learning styles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and services
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Foster a positive, structured classroom environment that supports academic and social-emotional growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Active Arizona Special Education Teaching License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Experience working with high school students in a special education setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
