Job Description

Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid New York State School Psychologist license
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation within school settings
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ethical standards and student advocacy
- Previous experience in K-12 schools preferred, but recent graduates with outstanding credentials are encouraged to apply
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Develop and participate in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and related paperwork
- Support students with social-emotional and behavioral concerns through evidence-based interventions
- Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive school climate
- Assist in crisis prevention and intervention efforts
- Provide ongoing consultation and guidance to staff as needed
