This full-time contract opportunity spans from early September 2026 through late June 2027, offering the chance to make a lasting difference throughout the school year. Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid New York State School Psychologist license
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation within school settings
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to ethical standards and student advocacy
  • Previous experience in K-12 schools preferred, but recent graduates with outstanding credentials are encouraged to apply

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
  • Develop and participate in Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and related paperwork
  • Support students with social-emotional and behavioral concerns through evidence-based interventions
  • Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to foster a positive, inclusive school climate
  • Assist in crisis prevention and intervention efforts
  • Provide ongoing consultation and guidance to staff as needed
