An urgent opening is available for a Clinical IV Pharmacist in Jonesboro, AR, offering a 3 to 6-month contract to hire opportunity. This role requires a professional with expertise in sterile compounding and strong clinical pharmacy skills, especially in IV medication management.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Every third weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify intravenous (IV) medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Prepare and mix IV medications in the clean room following sterile compounding protocols
• Perform clinical duties that include interpreting lab results and monitoring patient responses
• Provide flexible support across various pharmacy functions as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least 1 year of recent experience as an IV pharmacist
• Active and clear Arkansas pharmacist license
• Successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret laboratory results effectively
• Adaptable and willing to assist in various clinical pharmacy tasks
