In this full-time, onsite contract position, you'll provide essential psychological services and collaborate closely with staff and families to promote the social, emotional, and academic well-being of students. The assignment runs from October 1, 2026, through December 2026, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact in a focused period.

Key Qualifications:

  • Holds active School Psychologist licensure for Illinois
  • Experienced in providing psychological services to school-aged children, preferably at the middle school level
  • Demonstrates skill in psychoeducational assessment, report writing, and intervention planning
  • Strong communicator who works well with students, teachers, and parents
  • Organized self-starter able to adapt quickly in a dynamic educational environment
  • Committed to confidentiality and ethical guidelines in school psychology practice

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations including cognitive, behavioral, and social/emotional assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct services such as individual and group counseling as required
  • Support school teams in data-driven decision making for students’ academic and behavioral needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise in interpreting data and guiding interventions
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with relevant state and federal guidelines
