Location: Honolulu, HI (On-Site)

Duration: 3-Year Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

About the Opportunity

TEKsystems is partnering with Hawaiian Telcom to hire a Sales Coordinator to support customer account management, contract renewals, service coordination, and business development efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of Hawaii's leading telecommunications organizations and collaborate with multiple teams across the business.

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and coordination experience, excellent organizational skills, and prior experience working with Hawaiian Telcom systems, particularly those used for equipment and parts ordering.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively contact customers to identify and support business needs.
  • Coordinate network renewals, maintenance services, and new business opportunities.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through ongoing account support.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to coordinate solutions and services.
  • Schedule meetings, track project activities, and provide status updates.
  • Generate reports and maintain accurate customer and project documentation.
  • Manage multiple priorities while ensuring timely follow-up and issue resolution.
  • Utilize Hawaiian Telcom systems to order equipment and parts as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Previous experience in project coordination, sales support, customer service, or account coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of customer and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgment, reliability, and professional demeanor.
  • Experience with reporting, scheduling meetings, and coordinating projects.
  • Must reside on Oahu and be able to work on-site in Honolulu.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working for Hawaiian Telcom.
  • Knowledge of Hawaiian Telcom systems, particularly equipment and parts ordering systems.
  • Telecommunications industry experience.
  • Prior sales or account management experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $34.00/hr.
