Responsibilities:
\nFollow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures.
\nMaintain shop equipment per 5S Standards.
\n\n
Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste.
\nAssume active role in overall plant and facilities-related work. Position requires assisting all jobs on the plant floor.
\n\n
Operate forklift as needed.
\nOther duties as assigned.
\n\n
\n
Basic Qualifications:
\n\n
High School Graduate or GED
\nBe passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
\nAble to pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
\nMust be able to sit, stoop, and bend.
\nMust be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S.
\nAble to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.
\nMust be able to read a tape measure.
\n\n
Preferred Qualifications:
\nExperience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
\n\n
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
\n\n
Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
\nAbility to share ideas with others to solve problems and troubleshoot issues.
\nExcellent communication skills.
\nWork with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
\nAbility to work in a fast paced environment and handle impromptu schedule changes to meet customer
\nexpectations.
\n\n
Pay and Benefit:

Hourly pay rate for an Associate Level 1 Operator is $26.70.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

- Starting salary for position: [$26.70 per hour. \n
- \n
- Paid Vacation: 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year. \n
