Job Description
Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students from 3rd to 12th grade within a cohesive campus environment. This full-time position involves providing speech-language pathology services across three buildings, all conveniently located within walking distance of each other. You’ll work with a caseload of approximately 44 students, offering a mix of direct therapy and consultative support to meet a variety of needs.
Schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM, providing a predictable routine and work-life balance. This dynamic and inclusive setting encourages collaboration with educators and other specialists while delivering meaningful services that foster student growth and success.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Ability to confidently manage and balance a caseload that includes both individual therapy and consultative sessions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working with 3rd grade through high school-aged students
- Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication intervention to assigned students, individually and in group settings
- Conduct consultations for students who require support but not direct therapy
- Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting
- Document services, maintain student records, and track progress
- Communicate and collaborate with educational staff and families to develop and implement effective strategies
