Speech Language Pathologist in Norfolk, VA

Step into a dynamic educational setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist, serving K-12 students across four school sites in an engaging itinerant position. This full-time role runs approximately from 7:30am to 3:00pm daily, aligning with a traditional school schedule. Orientation and training are expected to begin in July 2025, leading into the academic year start in August.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required)
• Current or eligible Virginia SLP license
• Experience supporting school-aged children (K-12) in educational or healthcare settings
• Interest in collaborating with SLPAs and Clinical Fellows is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant therapist

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to a diverse population across multiple schools
• Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, support staff, and fellow speech professionals to promote student success
• Provide mentorship and guidance to SLPAs and Clinical Fellows as needed
• Participate in orientation and professional development activities at the start of the assignment
