Available roles:

  • Resource – Junior High: 7:50am–3:15pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch, school year begins 8/20.
  • RISE – High School: 7:05am–2:35pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch, 8/20–11/11.
  • STARS – Junior High: 7:50am–3:15pm, 30-minute unpaid lunch, school year begins 8/20.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching Certification required.
  • Previous experience in resource, behavioral, or cross-categorical special education settings is preferred.
  • Ability to individualize instruction for diverse learners.
  • Strong collaboration skills for partnering with staff, families, and specialists.
  • Commitment to student-centered practices and positive behavioral support.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Differentiate lessons and instructional strategies for a range of student abilities.
  • Collect data and track progress towards IEP goals.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff.
  • Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs.
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
