Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution
  • At least three years of experience as an occupational therapist, with a minimum of three years in a school setting
  • Active State Occupational Therapist license and Illinois Department of Financial Professional Regulations (IDFPR) registration
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Adaptability to serve multiple campuses and diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to K-8 students across two to three campuses
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement IEPs
  • Assess, plan, and document students’ progress and needs
  • Recommend interventions and modifications to promote student success in the classroom
  • Maintain compliance with state and district standards for therapy services
