Key Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
• Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in itinerant or school-based settings
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and assistive technology
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families
• Excellent communication, organization, and advocacy skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and support services to Deaf/Hard of Hearing students across multiple grade levels
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Facilitate inclusion and provide resources to general education staff
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Engage families and community partners to ensure comprehensive support for student success
