Exciting contract opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists seeking rewarding roles supporting K-5 students in a vibrant school setting near Richmond, CA. These positions are ideal for passionate professionals ready to make a significant difference through direct student support, collaborative education, and proactive caseload management.

Position #1: Step in as an SLP to cover a maternity leave from August through December 2026, working three days each week. You’ll manage the full SLP caseload, including all aspects of IEP development, conducting assessments, preparing comprehensive reports, and ensuring the quality and compliance of services delivered by SLPAs.

Position #2: Provide dedicated 0.4 FTE support (two days per week) throughout the academic year, focusing on a diverse K-5 caseload. This role requires the full range of SLP responsibilities, offering continuity and expert guidance to students and staff at the elementary level.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure as an SLP
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • CCC-SLP or eligible CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • School-based SLP experience preferred, but clinical fellows considered
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, assessment protocols, and speech-language interventions
  • Solid organizational, case management, and written communication skills
  • Capacity for collaboration with SLPAs, special education teams, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assessing and identifying students with speech/language needs
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
  • Delivering direct and consultative therapy services
  • Completing required documentation and progress reports
  • Consulting with teachers, families, and support personnel
  • Overseeing services provided by SLPAs (as applicable)
