\n* Day Shift\n
\n* Monday - Friday (4 day work week)\n
\n* No nights\n
\n* 1 weekend each month\n

\n*Duties*\n
\n
\n* Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnose health issues in a variety of animals, including companion animals and equines.\n
\n* Perform medical procedures such as vaccinations, surgeries, and laboratory tests with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques.\n
\n* Administer treatments, prescribe medications, and develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual animals' needs.\n
\n* Handle animal restraint safely and effectively during examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort for both animals and staff.\n
\n* Assist in emergency critical care situations by stabilizing patients and providing urgent interventions based on veterinary critical care protocols.\n
\n* Maintain detailed medical records using veterinary terminology and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.\n
\n* Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, pet grooming, nutrition, and preventive health measures to promote responsible pet ownership.\n
\n* Support laboratory diagnostics by collecting samples, performing tests, and interpreting results related to animal physiology and anatomy.\n
\n* Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment by practicing proper animal handling techniques and maintaining aseptic conditions.\n

\n* Extensive veterinary experience with a focus on small animals; equine experience is highly desirable.\n
\n* Proficiency in animal restraint, handling, and husbandry techniques to ensure safety during examinations.\n
\n* Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and clinical procedures.\n
\n* Experience with laboratory diagnostics, including sample collection and interpretation of results.\n
\n* Ability to perform animal catheterization accurately while maintaining aseptic technique standards.\n
\n* Excellent communication skills for effectively advising pet owners on pet care, nutrition, and treatment options.\n
