\nPOSITION SUMMARY:\n

\nProvides technical support and job site leadership to ensure a competent, highly qualified workforce; redeems customer commitments in a professional, high-quality, and timely manner while maximizing gross profit margins.\n

\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n
\n
\nDemonstrated leadership skills\n
\nMinimum 10 years of commercial/industrial service technician field experience\n
\nUniversal EPA Certified\n
\nDemonstrated knowledge of chillers, boilers, vibration, and oil analysis\n
\nMust possess a valid driver's license and currently maintain a safe driving record as required by the company's insurance provider\n
\nCertificate of Completion or Diploma from an accredited HVAC trade school preferred\n
\n
\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n
\nAgreement/Project Management:\n
\n
\nEffectively manages and controls equipment, material, tool utilization, and costs while assuring proper staffing and efficient field operations.\n
\nAudits required documents before the start of work to ensure all pertinent information is included; assures personnel doing the work are well informed of the scope of work.\n
\nProvides current input and actively participates in regular review meetings on work progress, customer relations, field relations, internal administration, and other matters affecting service operations.\n
\nExpedites and achieves schedules through the dispatcher; returns unused materials to suppliers for credit; closes all completed jobs and expedites release for billing.\n
\nProvides sales personnel with leads and alerts sales personnel about competitive sales efforts.\n
\n
\nCustomer Service:\n
\n
\nEnsures customer concerns are responded to quickly and efficiently while building and maintaining customer confidence and satisfaction.\n
\nAble to influence and drive customer satisfaction; possesses the proper judgment to escalate procedures when an emergency arises so that customers' needs are met.\n
\nEffectively communicates relevant information to customers regarding their systems, regardless of the customer's level of technical knowledge.\n
\nReports customer relations activity affecting customer satisfaction; fosters positive long-term relationships.\n

\nStaff Development:\n
\n
\nTrains all levels of service technicians, apprentices, and interns; mentors service representatives on how to solve problems independently.\n
\nIn coordination with Service Manager, develops and implements programs to improve the skills of individual technicians and the work group as a whole; provides training assistance and support during evening training classes at Haynes Mechanical Systems.\n
\nBalances team and individual responsibilities; exhibits objectivity and openness to others' views; gives and welcomes feedback; contributes to building positive team morale; puts success of team above own interests.\n
\nTactfully approaches others; reacts well under pressure; treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.\n
\nEnsures staff have read and are familiar with all safety procedures and manuals; provides ongoing training regarding on-the-job safety.\n
