Key Qualifications:

  • Completion of master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active and current Virginia SLP license (required)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with teachers, staff, and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and write progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
  • Document sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Provide strategies and interventions that foster student success in the classroom

This position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, starting July 27th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, making it ideal for professionals seeking a full academic year contract.
