Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teaching certification (or eligibility) for the state
  • Prior experience with elementary-aged or 4th-grade students preferred
  • Strong background in ELA and Math instruction
  • Experience with or interest in co-teaching models
  • Ability to adapt instructional methods to individual needs
  • Effective communication and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging ELA and math lessons tailored to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with a co-teacher to foster an inclusive, supportive classroom
  • Use data to monitor progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Contribute to the development and review of IEPs
  • Engage with families and support staff for student success
