In this role, you'll take charge of a small, self-contained BEST (Behavioral and Emotional Supported Teaching) classroom consisting of 9-10 middle school students in grades 6-8. The program is designed to offer specialized, focused support to students who benefit most from structured behavioral and emotional guidance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Demonstrated experience working with middle school students
  • Knowledge or background in behavioral and emotional support strategies

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, colleagues, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct instruction and support to a self-contained classroom (grades 6-8)
