Exciting opportunity in the Maple Park, IL area for a skilled Occupational Therapist looking to make a lasting impact in a school-based contract position. This full-time role offers a rewarding chance to support students across elementary and high school levels throughout the full school year, working 37.5 hours per week. Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Illinois
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based environments
- Demonstrated understanding of sensory integration strategies and experience working with school-aged children
- Strong documentation skills, specifically with progress notes and goal creation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to elementary and high school students in both resource and general education settings
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on sensory and functional student goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain organized records of student progress, ensuring data-driven updates and communication
