Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Galion, OH

A pharmacy in Galion, OH is seeking a per diem pharmacist to cover vacation absences during specified dates. This role requires working a schedule of 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no lunch break as the pharmacy remains open continuously throughout the day.

Location: Galion, OH
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pharmacy operating hours: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Vacation coverage dates:

• August 10 to August 14
• September 14 to September 18
• November 25

Responsibilities:

• Process and verify over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
• Answer phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Data entry and verification of prescription information
• Product verification and quality control
• Check in and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Collaborate with a team of three full-time pharmacy technicians
• Note: Immunizations are not required in this role

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Must hold a current, clear, and active Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficient with pharmacy software systems, preferably PioneerRx
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volume
