A fantastic opportunity awaits for skilled Speech Language Pathologists interested in supporting early childhood students during maternity leave coverage. This contract role spans two locations with varying hours: a full-time position in Stockbridge and a part-time option in Dansville, both situated near Okemos, MI. Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Speech Language Pathologist license for the state of Michigan
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience working in school settings, especially with early childhood students, preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Must NOT be a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
- No VOCO modalities accepted
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to early childhood caseloads
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support student progress
- Conduct assessments and deliver interventions that enhance students’ communication abilities
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Adapt services and materials to meet the unique needs of each student and follow district guidelines
