Speech Language Pathologist in West Chester, PA

Step into a vital role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract basis for the upcoming academic term. This position runs from August 19 through December 23, with the possibility of extension through the entire school year. Work Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 3:30 pm, in a positive, student-focused environment where your expertise will directly impact learning outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• State licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based practice
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
• Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and conducting evaluations
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload, estimated around 45 students
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
• Collaborative spirit for working alongside educators and families

Primary responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students with varying needs
• Developing, implementing, and tracking progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conducting evaluations and assessments, and reporting findings to multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in line with school and state requirements
